HALIN ZAMAN WANI AL’AMARI KO SHA’ANI NA MAKUNSHIN WANZUWA Al’amarin na makunshin wanzuwa ya kasu gida uku;

(a). Abu mai kauri, wanda bã ruwa ba, ko kuma daskararre (Solid)

(b). Abu mai ruwa-ruwa (Liquid)

(c). Abu na irin iska ko hayaki (Gas)

(a) Abu Mai Kauri (Daskararre): Daskararrun abubuwa, molecules sun tattaru a guri daya, kuma basu iya motsi sosai. Haka kuma, nau’in su da yanyin girman su ba ya canjawa.

(b) Abu Mai Ruwa-ruwa: Abubuwa masu siffan ruwa-ruwa suna iya motsi. Basu da kayyadadden nau’i ko yanayi, sai dai suna daukan siffan bokifi ko kuma alkidiri.

(c) Abu na irin iska ko hayaki: Abubuwa na nau’in iska ko hayaki na iya tafiya yadda yake so bã tare da wani ya taire shi ba ko ya hana shi tafiya. Basu da wani tabbataccen siffa ko girma.

STATES OF MATTER

Matter exists in three states;

(a) Solids

(b) Liquids

(c) Gas

(a) Solids: In solids, the molecules lie in a particular pattern. The molecules are close together and they vibrate about fixed positions. The shape of the solid is fixed; it does not depend on the shape of other materials.

(b) Liquids: The molecules of a liquid can move about within the liquid. They are in constant random motion and they also vibrate. It occupies the shape of a container. It depends on the shape and size of their substances.

(c) Gas: the molecules of a gas are also in constant motion but the molecules are comparatively far apart. It has no fixed shape due to the distances in the molecules of gas. It has no fixed volume, because it occupies the shape of any container or cylinder that is closed.
